Environmentalist? Promoter of social good? Style conscious?
We make a variety of products including beautiful tote bags, clutches and zippered pouches, all made from recycled videotapes. Our videotape “yarn” gives our bags a unique texture and interesting shine as they catch the light. All our bags are fully lined, have convenient pockets and are crafted on hand looms here in the United States. Each piece is unique, with its own natural variation—a piece of art for you to wear and use.
These hand-woven pieces are fashioned for you through Social Catalysts’ program that enables individuals with disabilities to work and simultaneously helps minimize our impact on the environment.

Our weaving sites are located in Somerville, Allston, and Lawrence, Massachusetts. Lawrence is one of the historical homes of the New England textile industry so it’s a fitting location for the birth of this weaving program.
